Civil marriage
The civil marriage is an ancient kind of marriage common for most of people. Though, it is common mostly for people of previous generation. Most young people nowadays prefer common-law marriage before civil one. Though, there is still a number of people who recognize no another form of marriage except the civil one. They believe that there is no way for normal conjugal relationships to exist without official recognition of the marriage. First of all it is because people have more rights when they are in civil marriage and the wife is wife but not a girlfriend, who jus live together with man she is in love with.
So, the civil marriage is a usual form of marriage. In most cases it is a marriage performed by some official other than a clergyman. The marriage performed by clergyman is called as religious marriage. Though, there is no big difference for us between these two kinds of marriage and so we are gonna call these with one term "civil marriage". So, the civil marriage is relationships between two people that are recognized by law and country, there is a common ceremony of civil marriage. During the ceremony people exchange with promises and express their will to live together. That will is registered by an official and the marriage is recognized as contracted.
The greatest benefit of this kind of marriage that drives all women crazy is a stamp in their passport. For some unknown reasons women are crazy about this stamp. They recognize it as guarantee for their happy live together with a man. Though, the stamp is not a guarantee, it never were and never will be. The guarantee for everlasting marriage is the foundations people have and feelings they have towards each other. According to statistic there are a great number of divorces in the world, and no stamp is able to change it. The base for happy marriage is blend of love and mutual respect. If there is no mutual respect and understanding between husband and wife no stamp is able to save them from divorce.
Though, people don't want to realize it and so they stamp their passports and recognize it as the greatest guarantee. It will be wrong to state that there is no point in civil marriage. If there were no point it would have already disappeared, but it does exist and it means that there is something in civil marriage the common-law marriage is not able to provide people with. Likelihood, that something is official recognition of marriage. In case of something terrible will happen it will be a wife the first one to find out about it. And in case if her husband will get in a hospital she will be the first one a doctor will inform about it, and she also will be the only one allowed to visit him.
